Kathleen Mckeehen is an artist specializing in natural science and children's illustration. She received a graduate degree in Science Illustration from UC Santa Cruz, where she was a fellowship recipient, and since then has enjoyed a full career teaching, illustrating, and exhibiting her work. Included on her staggering list of recent clients are McGraw Hill, Painted Pony Press, Reader's Digest Young Families, and Scholastic. Kathleen is professionally affiliated with the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and the American Society of Botanical Artists, and is currently the president of her local ASBA chapter, Pacific Northwest Botanical Artists.
